BC AAA Champs - Day 2 Finals:

Day 2 Finals
Dolphin swimmers reached the podium 4 times out of 7 swims tonight in finals. 15 yr old Travis Kam lead the way with a Silver and a Bronze in the 100 Back (0:59.63) and 200 IM (2:12.83). 16&overs Zach Somjen and Marko Gavric added 2 Bronzes. Somjen's medal was in the 200 IM coming from 7th in the prelims (2:09.35) and Gavric raced well for 3rd in the 50 Freestyle (0:24.07).
15 yr old Lotte de Wit had a strong 100 Backstroke moving up to 5th (1:08.85) with her 2nd Western National time of the weekend. 13 yr old Alex Zhang dropped to 8th in the 200 Free but held on to 6th in the 50 Free with a best time (0:27.42).
The 18&u boys 4x50 Medley team was a solid 5th with youngster Tyler Barr joining Kam, Somjen and Gavric on the squad.
Day 3 action looks promising tomorrow morning....!
Day 2 Prelims
13 yr old Alex Zhang and 15 yr old Travis Kam led the way this morning qualifying for 2 Finals each. Kam swims in the middle of the pool sitting 2nd in the 100 Backstroke and 3rd in the 200 IM. Zhang went best times in the 50 Free (27.49) and 200 Free (2:09.15) to qualify 6th in both.
