BC AAA Champs - Day 1 Finals:

Day 1 of the BC "AAA" Championships began today with the distance Freestyles and 4x100 Free Relays. CDSC had a number of swimmers in action including Vivan Wu, Jaclyn Mansfield and Travis Kam in the 800 for girls or 1500 for boys. Jaclyn produced a best time of 9:27.82 to finish 4th.
The 18&u boys team of Marko Gavric, Zach Somjen, Travis Kam, and Tyler Barr cracked the top 8 finishing 7th. This was Barr's 2nd effort on relays as he led out the 14&u boys team with his 1st sub-1:00 swim going 59.87.
15 yr old Lotte deWit also lead out strong for the girls team acheiving her 1st Western National standard of 1:01.05.
