New Years Invite - Day 2:

Morning Session
The 200m Breaststrokes were a great event this morning as highlighted below:
- Eva Nagy closes in on her Senior National cut setting a new CDSC and UBCD record of 2:37.11.
- Eva Turner notches new BC "AAA" 12 yr old Girls standard.
- Anna Nagy, only 9, gets new BC "AA" 11&u Girls standard.
Travis Kam set 2 meet records this morning, first in the 15 yr old 100m Freestyle (0:55.64) and followed that up in the 50m Backstroke with a swift 0:28.52. Another strong 100m Freestyle came from 13 yr old Alex Zhang as he moved closer to the 1:00 barrier going 1:00.26.
Evening Session
Eva Nagy rebroke her CDSC and UBCD 50m and 100m Breaststroke records in the same race today. Nagy took out her swim in a 50 split of 0:35.52 on her way to a 1:15.28 for the 100.
New qualifiers tonight included 16&over BC "AA" for Courtenay Barr in the 50m Freestyle and Elsabet Lapointe in the 400m Freestyle. 9 yr old Anna Nagy also achieved her 2nd "AA" of the day in the 11&u 100m Breaststroke.
Other swimmers worthy of mention so far include 14 yr old Clarissa Fong who has swum to 100% best times so far, and Christian Huh who missed his 12 yr old 50 Freestyle "AAA" by a scant 2 100's of a second.
