New Years Invite - Day 1:

Day 1 of the CDSC New Years Invitational Swimmeet kicked off with some great relays and distance events.
CDSC was victorious in 2 of the 4x50m Freestyle Relays: the 12&u Girls with Eva Nagy, Jaclyn Li, Eva Turner and Emilie Black along with the 15&o Boys with Zach Somjen, Davor Isic, Travis Kam and Suleimen Belbayev. The girls time of 2:10.70 was a new meet record!
Leading out one of the 14&u Boys teams was Lenny Wimmers who achieved his 1st BC "AA" time in the 50m Freestyle. Also reaching a new 14 yr old "AA" standard was Scott Carlson in his 1st ever 1500m Freestyle.
Top 8 finishers in the Distance freestyles included: Lotte De Wit 3rd 15 yr old girls 800, Travis Kam 2nd 15 yr old boys 800, Xantia Ursache 7th 14 yr old girls 800, Alex Zhang 4th 13 yr old boys 800, Vivian Wu 4th 13 yr old girls 1500, Aja Dawson 5th 13 yr old girls 1500.
